Terms and conditions of sale

1. Purpose

These terms govern the relationship between Rive Calme, located at 58 rue de Monceau, 75008 Paris, France ("Rive Calme"), and any person wishing to receive a wellness massage at home or at their hotel ("the client").

Submitting a booking request implies unreserved acceptance of these terms.

2. Services offered

Rive Calme exclusively offers wellness and relaxation massages, with no medical, therapeutic, erotic or sexual character: relaxing massage, Swedish massage, deep tissue massage and foot reflexology.

These services are never a substitute for medical advice or treatment. In case of any health condition, clients are invited to consult a healthcare professional before any session.

3. Booking and confirmation

Booking requests may be sent 24/7 through the website form. A request does not constitute a firm booking: each session is confirmed only after acceptance by an available practitioner.

Before confirmation, the client receives the profile of the proposed practitioner and the total price of the service. No service is due until confirmation has been sent to the client.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are expressed in euros, all taxes included. The price depends mainly on the chosen duration: 45 minutes, 60 minutes or 90 minutes depending on the service.

Travel within Paris, the massage table and professional linens are included in the displayed price. No surcharge is applied without the client's prior agreement.

Payment is made according to the terms indicated when the session is confirmed.

5. Cancellation and rescheduling

The client may cancel or reschedule a confirmed session by informing Rive Calme as soon as possible.

In case of late cancellation or if the client is absent at the appointment, Rive Calme reserves the right to charge all or part of the service, in particular when the practitioner has already travelled.

6. Session conduct

The practitioner travels with their table and professional linens. The advertised duration corresponds to the actual massage time; set-up and pack-down are not deducted from the session duration.

The areas massaged and the pressure level are agreed with the client before and during the session. Professional draping is maintained at all times and intimate areas are excluded from all services. The client may request at any time that the session be adapted or stopped.

7. Liability

Rive Calme is committed to providing professional services with the necessary means. Rive Calme cannot be held liable in the event of a contraindication not disclosed by the client.

The client undertakes to provide accurate information (location, relevant health status) and to welcome the practitioner in reasonably safe and clean conditions.

8. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing that, the competent courts of Paris shall have jurisdiction.
